San Pablo Reservoir Fish Report for 10-1-2012
The trout are on the bite at San Pablo Reservoir
San Pablo Reservoir - El Sobrante, CA (Contra Costa County)

Reservoir Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Boats Must be Off the Water: by 6:30 PM
Last Trout Plant: 1,200 lbs. on September 24th.
Water Temperature: 68 Degrees
Trout are biting again and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Rec area and trolling near the dam. The trout are biting on PowerBait such as Chartreuse and Spring Green. The trout have also been caught using the Broken-Back-Fire-Tiger for trolling. When trolling for trout you need to be 20 to 25 feet deep.
Catfish have been biting on Chicken Liver and Anchovies the most, while the Bass seem to be hitting on Sinko's in a Wacky rig or using Spinners and swimbaits.
