Despite this weeks full moon the striper bite remains good! Although the first hour, and mid day was best bite times we needed plenty of patience in the hours in between. The temperamental bass gave us numerous short bites while we waited for the bite to turn on. Anchovies, herring and shad scented with Pro Cure was our bait of choice.
The 3 to 5 lbs. line sides our holding in the 15 to 25 feet depths early morning than moving down in the 25 to 40 foot depths later in the day. Best area to try is the deeper waters of the main lake and cover alot of water. Lake temperature 74 .5 degrees.
