Yes, you read that right 50 Spotted Bass!

Fishing Approach:
We patterned shallow coves, banks, cuts and flats relatively close to deep water channels. We fished less than 10' of water pitchong a 1/8 ounce darter head rigged with a soft plastic stick bait of a variety of colors. We observed 20+ beds with very few being unoccupied. The darter head proved to be more effective than the shaky head as its exposed hook allowed for a much better hook up ratio.

It is important to keep an adequate distance from the bed and if the fish is "locked" it's only a matter of time before she bites!
