San Pablo Reservoir - El Sobrante, CA (Contra Costa County)
by San Pablo Reservoir
4-9-2012
Reservoir Hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Marina Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Last Trout Plant: 1,200 lbs. on April 2 and 2,000 lbs. from Fish & Game on April 3rd
Water Temperature: 53 Degrees
Trout fishermen are pulling in limits with some nice size catches. Berkley PowerBait colors in Chartreuse, Garlic and Spring Green remain the top choice for bait as well as the Berkley Mice Tail while also using the PowerBait Trout Dip in Garlic or Roe scents. Nightcrawlers have also been working. Rapalas like the broken back Fire Tiger and Shad lures still seem to be the best for trolling.
