Our last Catfish plant was 500 lbs. on August 17. Striper and Catfish have been the main catches this week with a few Trout being caught.
The water temperature is 74 degrees topside. A large majority of our Anglers have been using anchovies for the Striped Bass and chicken liver for Catfish. Trout anglers have also been using a variety of bait; PowerBait Eggs in white, Pink and Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in Fluorescent Pink and Green. PowerBait in White, Rainbow and Glitter, Orange Twist with Glitter, Lemon Twist and PowerBait Corn have been popular. Sardines and nightcrawlers along with Wax Worms are a favorite also.
