Despite a full moon the overall bite hasn't changed. Although we had 2 days of only 4 fish per day our weekly average remains the same. We did see a increase in size, with more fish in the 6 lb. class. Dan and Melanie Lewis of Glory Hole Sports Shop in Angels Camp, along with a friend Terry Weaver of Hawaii jumped aboard for a fun day of fishing. The trio hooked up to 11 fish boating 8. Melanie's was the "Big" fish winner with a 7 lbs. lineside she struggled to land. While reeling the fish in she commented and I quote "this is definitely not a Kokanee." Most of our fish we are finding are holding in the main lake area, down 15 to 30 feet. We have been experimenting with lures with no consistency. Rolling shad, anchovies and herring laced with Pro Cure scent has been the most productive. Water temperature is 81.7 by mid day. Water conditions are excellent!
