Trout plants: 1,200 lbs. from Fish & Game on April 26th, 500 lbs. from Mt Lassen on April 27th.

Bass, Catfish and Striper action has all picked up and Trout fishermen have been pulling in limits. The baits that seem to be in favor at the moment are white powerbait and silver Kastmasters. Other bait that has been successful are: powerbait eggs in white and spring green, Berkley Gulp floating worms in florescent green along wit powerbait in Chartreuse, Corn Yellow, Orange Twist and Lemon Twist.

Some good sized catfish were caught with chicken liver and anchovies. Striper fishing has been doing well also in Swallow Bay, with fishermen using light and bright powerbait and anchovies. There were a few smallmouth bass that came in, they were caught on Nightcrawlers.
