It was another beautiful day here on the Smith River. We are stting record high tempetures. This is not typical Steelhead weather. Today we hooked 3 fish and landed one. We kept a nice hatchery hen around 8 pounds. We finally have rain in the forecast, Lets hope it rains. Here is Jared Alverez from Oroville with his first Steelhead.

Well this is the kind of report you hate to post. Yesterday we got skunked! We had 4 bites, hooked 2 but did not bring any to the boat. Our water is getting low and is almost gin clear.
