Fishing on the Smith River has been getting a little tough. We need a little bit of rain, the water is getting low and gin clear. Today we hooked 3 and landed two. Both fish were natives and released.

well the water is dropping and getting clear, all of our fish were caught inthe fast, shallow, riffles. When the water gets clear they use the ripples on the surface to hide themselves. Yestersay we hooked 6 and landed 4 all fish 9 to 11 pounds. ...... Read More

Well the river is in prime condition and the fish are biting pretty good. We had 8 bites today, we hooked 5 and landed all of them we released 3 Natives and two hatchery fish.
