Fishing at Loch Lomond has ranged from very good to excellent, according to Ranger Bruce Worden. "We have seen quite a few trout limits lately. The lake is very clear with 25 foot visibility." The California Department of Fish and Game plated an additional 2000 pounds of Mt. Whitney strain rainbows in the lake just yesterday, so fishing should be excellent this weekend, according to Worden. "Powerbait and nightcrawlers are working well, whether you are trolling or fishing from the bank," Worden says.
