Our winter play time is over and the Sea Wolf is ready to roll, now the weather needs to behave and allow us to work. The 2025 season will be the same as last year.

April 1 - 30, we can fish from 300 feet of water and deeper. Offshore winds and swell will be a major factor in the number of days we’ll be able to get offshore. It looks like a few windows of good weather for the first couple weeks and we’ll be watching the weather models on a daily basis to keep you updated. May 1 - September 30, we’ll be allowed to fish 120 feet of water and shallower. Weather is not a major factor during these months but the selection of fishing tackle will determine your success. Due to the shallower water, smaller jigs and hooks will be used along with live bait when available.

October 1 - 31, we’ll be able to go deep again and you will need to change up your gear to larger reels and heavier rods from the coastal fishing as we will be fishing with 16 to 24 ounces of weight and larger flies / jigs.

I won’t go into our Combo season for November or December right now but they will have the same depth restrictions as the 2024 season.
