Success Lake fell to 22 percent of its storage capacity, and water temps dropped below 70 degrees. Bass fishing was good for numbers of smaller bass taking finesse baits on main and secondary points. Weightless Pro Senkos and jigs took better quality bass near the trees and in deeper water. Crappie reports indicated a slowing bite with small live minnows taking fish. Catfish went after nightcrawlers and cut baits.
