RB Bass Outdoors angler Brandon King and his partner Jeremy Pitts took 2nd place at the last Friday Night Shootout on Don Pedro with a little over 16 1/2 pounds. The wind blew a little more than it did during practice and because of that they focused on one guy throwing finesse and the other throwing an underspin for the first few hours. After they got a small limit of about 10lbs they slowed down to a Texas rig and neko rig for the rest of the night. The key to better bites was to try and work your worm as slow as possible. All of their fish were off slow tapering points in between 30-40 feet of water.
