Incredible action over the first week of October for Bay Area Anglers! Deepwater Rockcod anglers scored heavy sacks of quality Rockcod and Lingcod while enjoying cool, calm Fall weather! Boats scored full limits of Jumbo Vermillion, Yellows and Starry's adding a fish per rod to limits of Lingcod. Weather was fabulous with a lite breeze to cool off the hot action. We are running daily Deepwater trips thoughout the month of October.

Halibut and Striper anglers continued to find maurading schools of active Bass along with a nice showing of Halibut. Limits were the rule on the Stripers with periods of wide open action. Halibut were available to those who dedicated the time with a good mix of shakers and keepers to keep things interesting.

Bluefin tuna arrived at Dockside Fish Processing daily as this new fishery develops. The Scallwag scored jumbo BFT daily with the big fish taping out at 224lbs! They are back on the schedule beginning Oct 10 for NorCal anglers to get their shot at a trophy Tuna!
