Reel Excitement on the Bay!

The team at @DragonsportFishing just had an incredible catch - a massive bluefin tuna right here in the San Francisco Bay Area

Bluefin tuna are typically found in open ocean waters,  This catch is a real testament to the skill and expertise of the Dragon Sport Fishing crew.

According to marine biologists, bluefin tuna sightings in the Bay Area have become more common in recent years as ocean temperatures have risen. But actually landing one of these impressive apex predators is still an incredible feat. 

This bluefin put up one heck of a fight before finally being brought aboard. The photos and video the Dragon team captured are absolutely jaw-dropping. 

What an unbelievable catch! Huge congratulations to the anglers at @DragonsportFishing. This is a reminder that you never know what treasures the ocean may hold, even in our own backyard.
