At Stampede, anglers are finding kokanee in 50 to 70 feet of water near the dam end. Fish up to 15 inches in size are being caught. With us moving into fall conditions and the fish already turning quickly, the kokanee bite will only last for a few more weeks at Stampede. Shore anglers looking for trout at Stampede will find a nice bite near the boat ramp, off the dam, or by the Davies Creek arm. Try using various lures or live worms for shore fishing. Stampede Reservoir is at 82% capacity.
