On Independence Day we went to the bait dock in the morning loaded up for the evening excursions and then made a couple drifts for 7 halibut and 1 striped bass. In the evening we found extremely windy conditions but managed to find a nice spot with better weather and nice fishing for 11 more big halibut before shutting down for the fireworks glow. Today our 9 anglers were able to scrape up 11 halibut and 16 striped bass. We’ll be at it again on Saturday. Still a few spots available for 1/2 day departing at 7am and returning at 2pm or a full day on the KingFish departing 6am and returning 4pm. Sunday is wide open for both our boats.
