Our morning started with the daily run to the bait dock. We took a load of pinhead anchovies which didn’t leave much hope for good catching. We put them to work and caught a couple handfuls of striped bass. We got word that the bait dock would be running out of bait so we headed back to get another load, hoping it will survive the night and give us a chance for Father’s Day. Returning to the fishing spot we were warmly greeted by the voracious striped bass. Three good drifts turned into 22 limits of striped bass and 3 halibut for our 1/2 day.
