The lake rose to 80 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been good with several reports of limit style bass fishing. Some bigger models were reported as well. Bass went after a variety of finesse baits with Aaron’s Magic, Ox Blood, and Marten’s Madness all fooling fish. Bigger bass took baits flipped into the trees with 10” ribbon tailed worms and creature baits getting it done. Crappie were reported near the marina with fish eating small live minnows, and catfish picked up chicken liver, cut sardines, and anchovies.
