We finally experienced an easy day on Shasta after a pretty tough week last week. Yesterdays limits came mostly on side planers with 1-3 oz snap weights. @trinidadtackle23 Optimizer Jr’s were the lures of choice as nothing more elaborate worked for us today. Water temps are in the high 50’s so hopefully we’ll see a more consistent bite looking forward. 2.5-2.8 mph was the sweet spot again today and we got as many bites trolling straight as we did making turns. We caught mostly rainbows today but did get a nice hold over brown as well. We have availability all winter and it’s never too soon to book a trophy spring brown trout trip. Call or text Jaynie at (530)510-2925 for more information and available dates. Thank you!
