Aqueduct anglers reported good fishing for all species. Striped bass ate live worms, cut sardines, and jumbo live minnows. They also fell for the occasional topwater lure, Flukes on a jig head, and tube baits bounced along the bottom. Soaking your offerings after check gates has been the best way to get bit. Largemouth took topwater poppers and Whopper Ploppers early and late in the day. They also fell for finesse baits in baitfish and green pumpkin colors. Catfish anglers reported good fishing with dip bait, cut baits, and fresh shrimp. The Carolina rig has produced well for the whisker fish anglers.
