The lake fell to 59 percent of capacity and fishing remained good. Bass anglers used poppers, and walking baits to good effect in the mornings and evenings. Bass also took stick baits, Carolina rigged grubs, drop shot, and Ned rigs in 10 to 20 feet of water. Ehrler’s Edge, Aaron’s Magic, and Green Pumpkin have been scoring bites. Catfish anglers baited hooks with garlic scented nightcrawlers, cut anchovies, and dip bait, and crappie anglers reeled in some real slabs while fishing over submerged brush. Crappie took small live minnows, small swimbaits, and crappie jigs.
