The Trinity River has been fishing decent, we have been doing both fly fishing and spin fishing. The plug bite has been pretty darn good on the colder days. Sitting in front of the heater drinking coffee waiting for that take down is a pretty relaxing time. Once things warm up casting spiners or steelhead jigs have been getting there fare share of attention! I got a couple more weeks of chasing steelhead on the trinity River. Then I will be switching over to the lower Sacramento River for wild rainbow trout/steelhead. And striped bass fishing in April.
