I had beginners who wanted to catch their first keeper "sturgeon".

They had many opportunities but they insisisted they wanted to set hook themselves and realized quickly that this isn't so easy given most guides set the hook for you... after multiple bites they finally connected to one and ended up losing it at the boat because they couldn't hang on to the fish and keep the line tight enough so the fish beat them!

At the end of the day I came prepared knowing what kind of group I had, so Ethan and I threw a long Hail Mary pass and finished strong with five quality bass in the last hour of fishing and also caught the biggest flounder

I've ever seen!
