Crappie/Panfish - Night Crawlers, Redworms, and little Micro Jigs have been working good as well.

The fish are biting! We got this fantastic write up from Paul Clouse —
| trolled Lake Del Valle on September 16, 2022, targeting Smallmouth Bass. The “Smallie” bite remains excellent despite the extreme hot weather last week. A total of 19 fish were caught inclusive of 16 Smallmouth Bass and 3 Bluegills. The Smallmouth Bass were on the smaller size this outing with the largest weighing 1.9 pounds. The 3 Bluegills were very plump and feisty weighing around a half pound each. The fish were caught along the rock walls of the eastern and western shorelines as well as off the rocky points of Heron Bay. The rock walls and rocky points provided abundant structure for the “Smallies” to lurk. | trolled 1/4-ounce Silver Panther Martin spinners with feathers 15 - 20 feet below the surface in water columns 20 - 30 feet. All the fish were released in excellent condition. The surface water temperature has dropped to
73.5’ with the cooler weather over the past five days. The weather was sunny and mild with light breezes.
Truly a great day of fishing! A big thanks to the Marina staff for all their good assistance in getting me on and off the water. Looking forward to my next outing at Lake Del Valle!
Thank you, Paull!
