Success Lake was near 33 percent of capacity with warming water temperatures. Bass anglers did well last week with finesse baits, crankbaits, and creature baits. Bass held in 5 to 20 feet of water, and they went for Senkos, drop shot, and Ned rigs. There’s been some reaction bait action in the mornings. Catfish ate cut sardines, chicken liver, and dip bait, and crappie were reported in the marina.
