The bite is on! Spawn is here! Bass are being caught all over the lake on boats and especially off shore. Slow action baits and shallow diving crank baits being drug though spawn beds are getting a lot of reaction bites. Bluegill and red ear are being caught in the back towards Salsipuedes Bay.

The crappie bite is picking up but mostly still back in the narrows towards the Salinas River inlet. White and green crappie jigs seem to still be working for most pan fish. Red worms fully stocked in the marina store.

Trout being caught in Salinas Bay, Mackey Point and Blinn Bay directly behind the marina bait shop using the stores fresh night crawlers. Meal worms, night crawlers, red worms and mackerel are all fully stocked for purchase in the bait and tackle shop. See you at the lake!
