The lake rose to 11 percent of capacity, and fishing remains fair. Many bass anglers have moved to the winter pattern of fishing deep and slow for bites. Jigs, 10’ ribbon tail worms, and drop shot have been working down to 35 feet on main lake points and over rocky structure. Success Lake has always been a good lake for spoons, so don’t forget to work those vertical presentations. Catfish ate dip bait, sardines, and chicken liver, and a trout plant was scheduled for last week.
