1000lbs was released today bringing our season total to 10,300lbs so far. Most of these were Cutbows in the 2-3lb range and all were released at the dam. Night crawlers, Power Bait, and Kastmasters have been the baits of choice and I’ve seen and heard of several limits being caught today. The fishermen on their kayaks lost one around 8lbs fighting it with 2lb test which I know from experience is fun and frustrating at the same time! More rain on the way and cooler temps means all those 1 pounders we stocked last April at the end of season will be coming up from the depths to the top so expect the already awesome fishing to get even better! Trophies are coming very soon get ready for some line strippers to go in once we reach 60deg surface temp!!
