Update on Honker Cove Boat Ramp and Lightning Tree Campground. Thanks to Forest Service! As of late yesterday (9/27/2021), the gate at Honker Cove is unlocked. The dock is out of the water at Honker (and has been for some time now) due to the low lake levels. Also, Lightning Tree Campground is also open with no water and limited services. Lightning Tree CG has a few vaults that are unlocked, but it’s BYO-Everything since there aren’t any fees or services. Folks will need to pack out any trash they have. Lake Davis Kiosk bathroom is also open with limited service.
