Kaweah Lake fell to 12 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good. Bass anglers reported decent numbers using finesse plastics, crank baits, and topwater. Drop shot and shaky heads worked well on submerged rock piles throughout the day, and crankbaits and topwater both worked for bites early and late in the day. Catfish have been biting chicken liver, cut baits, and dip bait, and a few crappie were reported by anglers using minijigs near the marina.
