Some Top Water Lure Action This Week

Bass bite was slow but we finally heard about some top water lure action. Bluegill were found in some coved with nightcrawlers as bait. Catfish hit on morning dawn roboworm, but not much else. Trout are just unpredictable and hit on all kinds of things but it we had to pick a top favorite it was the trout dough powerbait.

The bite has slowed down a bit. We have had a lot of cloudy cool weather and the shad spawn seems to be mostly over. The crazed feeding frenzy was so much fun for hundreds of angels. Anything people were casting out was origin in nice fish. It is a great time for hiking no rattelsnakes yet and the bird watching here has been amazing.
