Stripper action is starting to heat up. We are finding good results in the main lake area, 15 to 20 feet deep. The 3 to 7 pound line sides are falling for rolling anchovies, herring and shad, rubbed with Pro-Cure anchovies gel. Water temps are also on the rise, from 68.6 degrees early in the week to 75.8 degrees in the later part. The strippers are not boiling yet, but expect that to occur soon. Best times to fish is early morning and late afternoon with this weeks moon phase.
