Its March and that means its time to start thinking about the Sacramento River Striped bass fishing! We typically start runing client trips the first week of April, but our key Striper guide is already down in the Colusa area catching Striped bass. Captain Jeff Brady leads our team with Striper experience and has been fishing in the Colusa stretch of the Sacramento River every season for over 25 years. It not only helps our team of guides to find daily success on the river, but it also helps us provide a great catching experience for our clients. Striped bass fight hard and they are also known for their great table fare. River conditions are currently very low in the Colusa area, so we'll need some rain before we start fishing down there daily for the best results. We have plenty of time and a few higher water events will put us on track for a great Striped bass season. Striped bass limits are 2 bass over 18" per person. Our guides provide all of the necessary fishing equipment and instruction during your fishing trip. We provide live bait and process your catch at the end of your trip. Most of our out of town clients secure lodging at the Colusa Casino or one of many Hotels in nearby Williams. We've booked all but 8 days in April and Will fill those remaining days very soon. If you want to get in on our private party Striped bass fisning trips this year, please contact Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more information or to book your trip today! Thank you!
