Bass Bite Has Slowed Down Some

The bite is slow as the bass have went a bit lethargic adjusting to the water temps. The bass that are being pulled out are very skinny so maybe fish with some real food. Throw them a frozen anchovy or live worm. Mid day seems to be the best catching hours when the sun has warmed the surface of the lake. Catfish are still around if you have the time to wait just sink something stinky to the bottom.

The drop in temperature has put fish in a bit of a lethargic state. Best luck seems to be in the afternoon once the sun has been out the fish start to move. Bass bite is good in the afternoon. Nightcrawler off the bottom about 15 feet offshore is the best advice for an easy catch. A lot of 10 plus pound Catfish were caught this week by several different people suing cut baits around 30 feet off shore. Crappie are good size.
