Happy Thanksgiving all, it has been a gorgeous fishing catching turkey week on the Klamath river. My clients and I had the river to ourselves and the fish did not disappoint.

The Steely Trout bite has been excellent all week. The fish are beginning to search for bigger meals now that the fall salmon spawn is over. Back trolling bait or plugs, casting plugs, swinging flies and fishing under the indicator have all worked. 

We mainly fished conventional gear this week but took some opportunities to swing flies in some of the faster water and hooked up on some nice fish as well. Those of you that have fished with me know that I like to switch methods and styles of fishing throughout the day.
