Its a little early to shift focus away from our fall salmon fishing on the Sacramento River, but its never too early to talk about our upcoming "Late Fall salmon and steelhead" fishing on the Sacramento River in Anderson, Ca.  November and December of this year will be spent running our much anticipated salmon/steelhead combo trips near the mouth of Battle Creek.  Our late fall salmon are a seperate run of salmon from our early season fall Kings.  The prize in this run of salmon is their size and the fact that they bolt upstream making them some of the table fare Kings of the year.  Its a smaller run of salmon overall, but they are all headed for the Barge Hole before heading up into Battle Creek where Coleman National Hatchery is located.  If thats not enough to peak your interest, our annual Sacramento River hatchery steelhead run builds good numbers in the Barge Hole area beginning in November as well.  This means we'll have fall salmon, late fall salmon, and hatchery steelhead available for our anglers in all of November and December.  For more information about this upcoming salmon/steelhead season, give Jaynie a call at (530) 510-2925 and she'll answer any questions you might have about this special time of the year.  Thank you!
