Fishing options will continue to grow as we head into the Fall and holidays months.

The Klamath River Fall and Winter Salmon and Steelhead seasons will begin soon. Starting in Mid to late September salmon typically begin to trickle into the upper parts the river to spawn. This spawn triggers a feeding frenzy for the Steelhead and Trout. 

This is an amazing time on the Klamath and those of you that have experienced it know how awesome a time it is. You can choose to fish on the fly or conventional both will have their place and both will produce.

Our local lakes also will be an option. Shasta lake typically produces some fat Trout fishing in the coming months, big Browns and Rainbows are often caught. Lake Siskiyou will begin to turn on again as the camping crowd disappears it also will begin to kick out good size Browns and Rainbows. McCloud will continue to be that Reservoir that produces a lot of action and beautiful scenery.
