Here’s a breakdown of the fishing and weather through the weekend into the beginning of the week. Current is still ripping uphill but the sea’s are beautiful so the fishing isn’t wide open and you do have to work for them which make the trip more rewarding.

Saturday’s trip we caught 200 rockfish and 30 lingcod to 16 pounds for our 20 anglers.

Sunday’s trip was our monthly Hi’s tackle box charter, we did have wide open rockfishing but the lingcod bite was a painful pick but we did have the best weather in the past 2 years for this group. We ended up with 180 rockfish and 36 lingcod to 14 pounds for our 18 anglers.

This Monday we had a steady pick of both lingcod and rockfish where we finished up on both at the same time. We caught 220 rockfish and 44 lingcod to 16 pounds for our 22 anglers.

And today Captain Joe finished his day with 180 rockfish and 36 lingcod to 17 pounds for his 18 anglers
