Triple digits and a dropping lake could be why we've seen a slower bite the past few days. We're catching some nice trout and King salmon, but its not the lights out fishing we're used to this time of the year. I call the days like I see them and want clients to know its not red hot fishing rt now. The only thing thats red hot is the sun shining down on Shasta County this week! People always ask, and I tell them, summer is the best time to fish Shasta Lake! It really is and hopefully We'll be crushing limits again any day and I'll be reporting those conditions when I see them. We have lots of Shasta Lake trips still ahead, so check back often to get the best and most accurate reports almost daily. Thank you!
