We are in full swing on the Shad season now.  Half day trips are great to stay out of the heat, and both the morning and evening bites have been strong.  There's always time for a quick dip in the river to cool down as well.  With the continued low river flows, wade access is also great, and anglers are catching them from boats and shore alike!
