12/3/19 - Great fish, great smiles for Dan and Roger on the Klamath, what more needs to be said, other than we had great weather and the river all to ourselves.
My clients Dan and Roger started December off with some big Klamath Steely smiles. Back trolling and casting Maglip 3.0 and Rapalas lathered up with Pro-Cure Carpspit were the hot offerings of the day. Although we did pull out the good old garden hackles and back trolled it on the jet diver and had good success.
We stuck with side casting the rapala most of the day. It is really hard to beat the action and excitement of seeing those Klamath fish smash that plug as it nears the boat. Then jump and an run broke and put on a great little show as they often do.
We had an entire 10 mile stretch of river to ourselves and were blessed with mild winter weather and blues skies most of the day. How can you beat that as well as hooking up fish in the 1 to 6 pound class and 24 Inches long.
Christmas is just 3 weeks away if your looking for that perfect gift I have gift certificates that make great Stocking stuffers for friends and loved ones.
