Captain Justin led his clients to the trophy grounds today and they definitely found some. rain and cold weather produced a good bite and todays clients hooked numerous quality steelhead and trout. Its a fishery that holds well into spring when the most productive stretch of the Sac closes to fishing to protect the endangered winter run salmon. We have several months of good fishing ahead so start planning your trips now!
Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide. He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year.
