Captain Justin Thompson checked in today and reported another really tough bite on the Sac River in the Barge Hole. After a full day of fishing one of Justins clients hit a home run with this big King salmon. Definitely quality over quantity. We're working hard for our clients, but there just aren't a lot of salmon in the area just yet. I did get a message from a fellow fisherman indicating a good push of salmon through the Sacramento Merto area last week. We're getting a little wet weather next week so a good look at the Trinity would be my recommendation. Watch our Shasta Lake reports as well, we're getting some nice trout making that a great option as well. Thank you!
