Captain Justin Thompson checked in from the Sacramento River today with reports of a good bite for todays clients.  This is still really early in the season for the numbers we are seeing most days we fish on the Sacramento River.  Drifting Pautzke Fire Cure roe is getting the most bites and the water temps are prime for egg fishing!  All indicators point to a really good season ahead and the in-river fishing is going to be lots of fun!  Two fish limits open up opportunities for some bent rods and heavy coolers at the end of the day.  I'm booking salmon trips for my guide team every day, and with three boats, we're able to accomodate most requests within a 4 week lead time.  We still have some September dates available and October has lots of room.
