Wow. What a difference a few days in the mid-60's makes. You can drive down to the water at Mallard Cove in any vehicle, just watch out for the car eating pothole.
You can drive up the main road to Lightening Tree Campground but the road into the campground is not passable. Coot Bay and Honker Cove are still not passable.
Lake level is 95% full.

Ice Fishermen Having Some Luck

Three ice fishermen were out ice fishing yesterday (3/16/2019). They caught three really nice fish. They reported there was about 9 inches or so of slush on the top of the ice; then about 9 to 12 inches of solid ice. They were fishing at the dam toward Cat Fish Cove.
