With the rain comes the Bass.  Catfish are doing great this week and the Trout are still deep but with the cooler temps. fishing should be picking up.  There has been no word on a fish planting.  There are reports of rain for this mid week which will slow things down but should be picking up by the end of the week.

There were 27 anglers reported this week here at the lake.  With reports of 126 Bass, 4 Channel Catfish and 4 Blue Catfish being caught.  Bass are biting on nightcrawlers, red and green plastic worms and micro bait.  Bluegill are also biting and Crappie have just started to bite.  There was reports of a 29 lb Blue Catfish being caught this past week. ...... A variety of fish have been biting both from shore and around the lake over the past week despite the cooler weather.  Anglers have been catching stripers and catfish from shore, most on chicken liver, sardines and anchovies.  Hot spots have been mainly along the canal by the entrance booth, and also off the end of the rip rap in front of the boat shop.  Bass have been biting along the shorelines and throughout the coves, down deep on the......
