Fish are still putting a smile on the face of all anglers. Kids are having a ball with panfish, especially blue gill. Crappie and Red ear are active as well. Decent size catfish have been taken still hanging in the coves in grassy area. Bass are biting at the narrows on standard bait such as crank swim and on occasional drop shot with rubber worm and jumbo night crawlers as well.

Pan fish, especially bluegill, are hitting big time this last week off of worms in the coves. Catfish are doing well in the grassy areas. Most Red Ear, I have heard are being caught this last weekend, some up to 2 pounds plus off of worms as well. Fishing is doing well with all species. A 6 pound largemouth was caught with worms, off the back of parked pontoon at the Marina. Bluegill are still doing well near the store in shallow water off of worms. Catfish are up to 18 pounds hit on Mackeral at Vaca Flat off shore. Pan fish are being caught off of worms and spinners, bass off of plastic worms, crankbaits and swimbaits hitting in shallower water. ...... Read More
