Last couple of trips ive been finding big balls of shad around the mouth of the Sacramento  arm  there is a aboundez of fish feeding on those shad balls ive been looking for those flocks of birds feeding  also on the surface  browns rainbows and bass ate on the bite the first couple of hours in the morning  rolling shad or shad pattern lures are the trick .We still have open dates in the next few weeks call me at 530 515 5951 thanks kirk sacriverguide  remember I ve been in lake shasta as a guide since 1988
