A recent release of 1000 pounds of rainbow trout is providing those fishing from the shoreline the best action. Shoreline anglers taking some  nice trout weighing up to 2.5 pounds near the launch ramp. and the Narrows.

Lake Amador Resort continues to release about 1500 pounds of Mt. Lassen rainbow trout per week. The trout are moving into the shallows and the shorelines in 2 foot depths.
